WORKSHOP
Hands
In all professions—manual and office-based alike—hands are constantly in use. They are our first point of contact with the environment. Yet, their vulnerability is often underestimated.
Every day, cuts, burns, crush injuries, and chemical exposures put this vital tool at risk. A single moment of negligence or a forgotten protective measure can result in a serious, sometimes irreversible injury.
The “Hands” workshop is designed to place hand protection at the core of professional awareness. Through a series of sensory experiences, practical demonstrations, and immersive scenarios, it aims to heighten risk perception and build sustainable protective habits—starting with proper glove use.

Workshop Programme
1Common Risks and Underestimated Danger Perception
Analysis of familiar situations:
Using real examples from their daily work, participants identify risky behaviors: handling loads without gloves, using blades or poorly stored tools, contact with abrasive surfaces…
Debunking false beliefs :
Guided discussions challenge common justifications such as: “It only takes a second,” “I’m used to it,” “I’ve never had an accident.” These attitudes are confronted with real statistics on hand injuries in the workplace.
2Immersive Experience: What Happens Without the Use of Hands?
Hands-on scenarios:
Participants attempt basic tasks (buckling a harness, opening a container, using a tool) while one hand is immobilized.
The goal: experience first-hand the dependency created by hand injuries and understand the impact on daily life.
Moment of awareness:
Participants share their reactions in a debriefing session that emotionally anchors the importance of hand protection.
Why Include
this workshop
in your prevention program?
Because hands are often the most exposed and least protected tool in many professions. And it takes only one accident to jeopardize a life project or career.

Shift perceptions
of hand safety in a lasting way
Make glove-wearing an active,
informed habit—not a constraint
Promote responsible practices
within teams
Significantly reduce hand-related injuries,
which have serious consequences for both victims and their loved ones
